The Process
From the first message to handover, you work with me.
I scope your project, design it, build it, review it with you and hand it over. I co-work with AI to move faster and check more, and I make the decisions.
How a project runs
Five steps, in the same order every time.
Every project is different, but the order is the same, and nothing moves to the next step without your yes.
01 · Brief
A brief, a scope and a fixed price
Send a few lines about what you're building and when you need it. Within two business days I send a one-page scope, a fixed price and a start date.
You get
- One-page scope
- Fixed price
- Start date
02 · Design
Design the key pages first
Key pages and screens in Figma, on desktop and mobile, turned into tokens and written rules the build follows. You sign off before I build.
You get
- Figma designs
- Design tokens and rules
- Your sign-off
03 · Build
Build in small, reviewed changes
In a repo you own, on Astro, Next.js, WordPress or Shopify for sites and Flutter or native Swift and Kotlin for apps. I review every change before you see it.
You get
- Production build
- CMS setup
- A preview for every change
04 · Launch
Review, polish and launch
You click through every page with me and I test it on real devices, then it goes live. If you're moving platforms, your URLs carry over.
You get
- Speed and accessibility checks
- Redirects
- Launch
05 · Handover
Hand over a site you can run
Docs in the repo and a walkthrough of your CMS, so your editors publish and any developer can pick it up. The code and accounts are yours.
You get
- Docs for you
- Editor walkthrough
Co-working with AI
AI drafts. I decide what ships.
AI takes the repetitive work at each step, so more gets checked in the same time. These are the rules I keep.
I make the calls
Rules beat prompts
Nothing ships without a yes

FAQ
Questions about the process
Is your work AI-generated?
No. I co-work with AI: it drafts options, code and checks, and I choose, refine and finish what you see. Nothing ships until I've reviewed it and you've approved it.
Which AI tools do you use?
Mostly Claude and Claude Code, with Figma for design. The tools will change. The review step won't.
What happens when the AI gets something wrong?
It does, which is why I review every change. Drafts come with a preview, I check them against the design system and the brief, and only approved work ships.
Is design included?
Yes. I do design and development, so the key pages and screens are designed in Figma and approved by you before the build starts.
How often will I hear from you?
Often. Most work runs async with written updates and previews you can click through. I'm in Australia and book calls at a time that suits you.
Can someone else work on the site after launch?
Yes. I hand over docs in the repo, so another developer or your own team can pick it up. Your editors keep publishing in your CMS.
I already built something with AI. Can you work with it?
Yes. I review what is there, keep what works, and clean up the structure, states and UX that fast builds skip.
