Privacy policy.

TALKK Web Design Studio (ABN 92 646 079 226) is my design and development business in Byron Bay, NSW. This policy explains what personal information I collect through talkk.com.au, why I collect it, and what I do with it. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What I collect

When you contact me, I collect what you choose to give me:

• From my enquiry and brief forms: your name, email address, business name, website, budget, platform and a description of your project.
• When you email or call me: whatever you include.

When you visit the site I also collect some information automatically, through Google Tag Manager: the pages you view, your browser and device, roughly where you are, and how you arrived, including the campaign details and click id that come with a Google or Meta ad. If you send me an enquiry, those campaign details are attached to it so I know which ad or page brought you here.

My forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It runs silently when you load or send a form, and checks signals from your browser and device, such as your IP address. Cloudflare handles that information under its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

How I use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and run your project.
• To send invoices and keep business records.
• To understand how the site is used and which of my ads lead to enquiries.
• To show my ads to people who have visited the site, through Google and Meta advertising.

I do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

I use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. These set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com, manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who I share it with

I share personal information only with the services that help me run the business: Vercel, which hosts this website; Resend, which delivers form submissions to my inbox; Cloudflare, which checks that form submissions come from a person; and Google and Meta for analytics and advertising. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries and project records for as long as I need them to work with you and to meet my tax and business record obligations, and I take reasonable steps to keep them secure.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, by emailing hello@talkk.com.au or calling 0466 362 150. If you have a concern about how I have handled your information, contact me first and I will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
