Website cost calculator for businesses
Choose your pages, platform, CMS and extras to see what the build costs, then what it costs to run each month. Every figure is my own price or a vendor's list price, and each one is sourced below.

Website cost questions, answered
Prices, running costs and timelines, from the same numbers as the calculator.
How much does a website cost?
WordPress sites start from $8,000, and Astro and Next.js sites from $12,000 for up to 8 pages, or $15,000 on Astro with a full headless CMS. Pages, platform and extras move it from there; the calculator shows how.
What does a website cost to run each month?
An Astro site can run on free hosting and Sanity's free plan. Vercel Pro is about $28 a month, and Cloudflare Workers Paid about $7. Managed WordPress hosting starts at about $40 a month, billed yearly. Payload has no seat fees, just hosting. Vendors bill in US dollars, so these move with the exchange rate.
How long does it take to build a website?
Usually 4 weeks on WordPress, 4 to 6 weeks on Astro and 4 to 8 weeks on Next.js. Sites over 20 pages, or in more than one language, take longer. I set the date with you and put it in the quote.
How is a migration priced?
Like any build, on the pages, platform and extras involved. I rebuild the pages on the new platform, map every URL and set up 301 redirects so your search rankings carry over, and that's part of the quote, not an extra.
What does the estimate leave out?
Domains, email, paid fonts, stock images, plugin licences and usage above the vendors' included limits. Anything unusual, like a store or logged-in area, is scoped from your brief.
Is this a quote?
No. It's an estimate from my published prices and vendor list prices. Send me a brief and you get a fixed scope and price within two business days, and nothing starts until you agree to it.
